Frederic Rzewski: no place to go aroundOpis:There’s an entwined sense of bittersweetness and celebration that permeates Lisa Moore’s latest recording ― her first to feature a suite of all-new performances devoted to the work of her friend and mentor, Frederic Rzewski. For many fans of the composer, this is the first time they can hear a collection of his more lyrical works on one album, including the haunting epic Amoramaro, which was commissioned specifically for Moore and is one of the last pieces written by Rzewski before his death last June.
