Cadair Idris [VINYL]Opis:Leeds based Awen Ensemble release debut album 'Cadair Idris' to critical acclaim from supporters such as Gilles Petersen, Jamz Supernova, Clash, Uncut & KLOF Magazine. The alternative jazz-folk ensemble have penned an album based on the myths and legends on Welsh mountain Cadair Idris, with Emyr Penry-Dance's sublime trumpet melding with the ethereal vocals of singer Amy Clarke who form part of the 7-piece group. With support on BBC 6 Music, Radio 2, Jazz FM, Bandcamp Weekly and Soho Radio, the group will be embarking on a 16 date UK tour following the album's vinyl release on April 12th. "Mysticism runs deep on this folk-jazz octet's evocation of a night on the Cadair Idris mountain. Bodhra´ns, warm Rhodes, tender brass and funky backbeats align with Amy Clark's pure vocals as spectres of John And Beverley Martyn and Pentangle rush by." **** - MOJO"Awen Ensemble's Cadair Idris (New Soil) is an album of ambient folk treasures, exploring the seven-strong band's Celtic roots in songs inspired by mountain legends in north Wales. A meld of Fender Rhodes pianos, saxophones and bodhráns create visions of a 21st-century Pentangle." - GuardianAutor:Awen EnsembleNośnik:lp_recordPłyt:Język: English: Original LanguageData wydania: 2024-04-12Waga: 0.55 gramWysokość: 0.2 cmSzerokość: 12.5 cmDługość: 12.5 cmNew Store StockUWAGA: Kupując produkt na tej aukcji zgadzasz się na wydłużony termin realizacji wysyłki (10-14 dni roboczych).
