Wytrzymała mieszanka cierna utrzymuje współczynnik tarcia na poziomie około 0,40 w temperaturach sięgających 900°C, dzięki czemu zachowuje stabilność podczas długotrwałych i powtarzalnych hamowań. Nie wymaga wcześniejszego rozgrzewania, jest względnie łagodna dla tarcz, a jej trwałość może być 2–3 razy większa niż mieszanki Yellowstuff. Ze względu na wyczynowe zastosowanie tylko wybrane referencje Bluestuff posiadają homologację ECE R90 dopuszczającą użytkowanie na europejskich drogach publicznych.
